I have been running the silicone VC gasket on two different cars with R16s and love them. Good seal from oil leaks after adjusting valves and stays pliable over the years.

I run them dry with no Permatex or similar.

I have gotten my from Gasket Innovations aka Alexander Racing. The founder from ‘70s is still there and great customer service.

Edit: Ordered from Gaskets Innovations $27 delivered. Datsungaskets.com website is a bit rudimentary to be kind, and cost a bit more. No response to an inquiry as well. Granted its been only a day.
