I just used a site called UShip
https://www.uship.com
This work out great, no hassle received multiple shipping quotes, getting a roof rack for my 411 from the LA area to Modesto CA cheaper than gas to drive and get it.
It's an awkward size and shape. Will be a good resource for moving big parts. Just an FYI

Re: Shipping over size parts
I thought as much, wondering about hitting delivery promised date, and arriving in good condition. I'm guessing the Seller is responsible for prepping / packaging?Guy wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:10 pmTotal cost is set, agreed to and paid up front.DAC21 wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:05 pmPlease follow up with the total experience once it arrives.Guy wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 4:52 pm I just used a site called UShip

Re: Shipping over size parts
Most shipping companies who handle large items will only give you a few cents per pound if your part is lost or damaged, and it’s very little. Some will allow you to quote a stated value, but the shipping costs will go up exponentially. If you are shipping something valuable be sure to find out beforehand what you are covered for. If you are dealing with a broker (which Uship.com may be, GET IT IN WRITING.
