Timing chain and oil slinger

Post by Mochi »

So I mounted up the new chain/sprockets/tensioner can you double check that it is correct? There were two dimples on the crank sprocket. I assumed that the one with the white paint is the one to use. The sprocket is clocked with cylinder 1 at TDC.

the oil slinger was on the back side of the sprocket my chiltons book states that it goes there but I don't think that is right. I put in front in the pic

Correct, that is where the oil slinger goes. Timing marks look correct.
