Temporary Fuel Cap - What else fits roadsters?

Post by Curtis »

I'll be sending all my locks to be repaired and keyed alike. In the meantime I need a temporary fuel cap and searching for one is not succeeding. I see some that look like they may work. And no I don't want to stuff a rag in there for the Molotov cocktail look.

So what other cars are the same? Searching wants 70 or newer cars?

Parts interchange says this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUZUKI-TC125-R ... 4118458469

But it was mentioned for a 1969 Roadster, not sure about a 1967

Looks like the $21 per days are over?

62-69 and some 70's used the same filler neck. The oddball is the 70 with the vapor tank

That I know, it's finding some other newer car that uses the same type. There's plenty of $10 caps out there but you can't tell if they fit. Parts guy took the fill spout and went and looked for one for me.

Well unbelievably, I looked in a box of misc. somewhat junky parts and there was an unvented cap in there. A bit rusty but who cares, it won't be on there long.

Thanks all.
