Freevalve cylinder head the future of internal combustion engines

Post by 70MTRoadster »

How about a cam-less cylinder head for our U20 or R16's? Lighter, narrower, less tall, shorter. 45% more horsepower, 47% more torque, 15% less fuel, 35% fewer emissions. 15 to 20% lighter too. No need for direct injection, just port injection. Complete control of Every valve! Lift, duration, all of it.

Konegsegg modified a turbo 1.6 4 cylinder chinese engine to freevalve and it is being marketed right now.

Check it out on Youtube under Konegsegg Freevalve.

Hot rod mag or karkraft magazine had a prototype of this in the 80s
They drag raced it ...,saw one that used flat slide plates as valves
Heck just use a electric motor VWs 240 mph E car

Looks like there is no debate in terminology between "engine" and "motor" since this has both.

Yeah, when the $10-12k battery is done on your E car , just order this 3 cyl engine instead
