Can anyone advise me on where I can get some Spanish Red touch up paint for my 69 SRL? I called Automotive Touchup and had them check all the cross-references I had:
Datsun 664 Ditzler PPG 71812 or 71794 Sherwin Williams 4318
Has anyone found a generic red that comes close? I'm painting the inside of my trunk, so close is good enough, but I'd like to hit some of the minor body stuff if I can find a good match.
Thanks
Spanish red #664

Re: Spanish red #664
I found this source just this past August: https://www.paintscratch.com
I selected year 1970, Make Nissan, and model 2000. Up popped two color choices: 655 Ivory White and 664 Medium Red.
I ordered a 2 oz. touch up bottle and a 12 oz. spray can. The color match is very good to my 1600 from the touch up bottle. I haven't tried the spray can yet (there are some larger areas that need some help that I'm going to try that on). The previous owner had put a second coat of paint on my car that I am assuming was 664 Spanish Red. The areas where there is the original paint look to be a good match.
Good luck!

Most automotive paint supply stores can color match to your car and put it in a spray can. A little pricey compared to store bought rattle cans, but worth it if you want it to look good.
