Anyone know of a shop to grind cams?
Prefer locally to So. Cal.

I got mine for my stroker from ISKY.
My junk pile:
71 Jeep Gladiator. Restored w/#s matching engine. My WeeBeasty
70 1600 legit 2nd owner. Stroked and bored
Several salvaged w access to a barn full of parts, part cars & whole cars
......What's in the barn is for sale. What do you need?

I believe I used American Cam Regrinding down in your neck of the woods. Check out my write up under the tech wiki, engine, scroll down to the post.

Be careful who you have grind your cam, in order to do it right they have to grind the core next to each lobe. Also the lobe has to have a few degrees of slope or tapper if you will in order to rotate the lifters. If that is not done correctly the cam will chew up the lifter and lobes. I have seen this happen a few times on bargain cam regrinds.

I bought a used one off eBay and drove it over to Isky. Happy with it so far.

A long way away but shadbolt cams in Vancouver BC. They do out of town stuff. Had my datsun 510, 1600 cam done by them yrs ago
