It carbon tracks from the gas coating the insulator and electrode , gas is hydro carbon sometimes you can dry out the plugs and it's ok on the 1st or 2nd time
Every 2 rpms gets a shot of fuel so do not crank and crank
at the dealer every no start got fuel cut off open the throttle and try cranking Many fired up, but plugs worn or gummed on threads etc.
Most Yous guys weren't around in only the carb days ....won't start pull the top of the air cleaner stick a long screwdriver down the choke and T plate , try it again in a hour

Re: Matchbox Dizzy testing
I pitched the plugs, so no photos
Car is running on the rich side, but the plugs not that bad. The car has gone through plugs much faster than I feel acceptable. But in past, when plugs started to give problems, it would always start, just run like crap. This was first time it didn't start.
Not sure if anyone else with matchbox dizzy burn through plugs.
