We will be there with our "radical flying brick" 510 (wagon) ready to race, or whatever....

Any other Datsun racers up for the challenge?

$500 for the car, $500 for the entry fee for the car, $600 for 6 drivers, $600-$800 for race tires (which the fast guys will have and it isn't against the rules). $2200 seems like a lot of money for a weekend of beer and hedonism. I can get drunk, run over a bunch of manequins, trash a car, and buy a cheapo trophy for a lot less and have just as good of a time.

Now that sounds like it will a lot of fun. Will there be any in car video? That is close as I have been there quite a few times to watch the races but work these days keeps me way too busy.

Andy....

We will be running our "FREE" 510 wagon on old and mostly used up race tires. The cost, will be for the cage we are going to build ourselves and for transportation to and from the event and $100 per driver. So, no it is not a $2200.00 weekend, more like a $400.00 weekend per person....

And for what! For the hell of it. Because the events that these guys put on are unbelievably outragous and Fun.

Andy, I think your sulking because you cant go.

As for Video...hmm dont know...I think we can swing that, but not for the full 24hours.

Sounds like fun. Please tell me your 510 wagon is beyond salvaging.

Take pictures!

Pete,

The wagon is pretty rough and well beyond salvaging...unless you are willing to put big money into a wagon to fix a large number of problems. It is the perfect donor for this project.

We are installing a bunch of old fiberglass parts on it (hood possibly fenders etc) to get it looking respectable.

There will be plenty of photos....

Thanks....
