rear gearing

Post by epdatsun »

Hi, my name is Sam Neave, I am new to this forum or any forum for that matter. I don't know how many people on this forum remember Albert Gasts. Unfortunitly he past away over a year ago but before he did he gave me his Roadster E,Production race car. I am the one who did most of the major work to this car.Now I am in the process of do some up grades to the car and I am planning, with Grayson Upchurch Driving ( he was the one who drove it most of the time for Albert)make a run for the Run-offs this year. The problem I need help with is rear axle gears. Does anyone have a 4.10 or 4.37 rear gear?
Thanks Sam

Sorry to hear about Al. Glad you are carrying on. Someone here should have a line on the differential gearing you are looking for.
Welcome to the forum, I think you'll find it really valuable and we would love to follow your progress!

Welcome, sorry for your loss but we champion your cause! May I suggest you consider using the wiki for the various vendors listed there as they may be able to help as well. Good luck, and we would enjoy hearing about your efforts. I remember seeing Al's name before, maybe in a Datsun Comp catalog (?). I'm sure he'll be along for the ride... we Datsun folk don't give up our cars!

Grayson Upchurch has qualified 7th out of 31 EP cars at the SCCA runoffs at Indy!
Congrats to Grayson and Sam, that’s quite a feat. Hope the race goes as well or better.
