Too bad the PC police banned the OP, He can't thank you, doesn't drink, and is a genuine nice guy trying to get his dad back into his roadster before his dad can't. We should be able to overlook political differences, or not be so sensitive to political statements. I have not ever seen someone put so much $ or effort into putting a car back on the road. I asked Chris if his dad would adopt me, but it looks like My project will take longer. Seriously, can you all take a breath? Pat

I took a long breath. He might be a nice guy as several others have said but I was not going to put up with his bull shit attitude here. I do not ban and delete on a whim. He was out of line and just kept at it. Pretty sure he has tried to register with another email address and user name unsuccessfully. He is not welcome here-period. There are no PC police here but when you start bad mouthing the site and pretty much everyone on here that goes over the line. He started it and I ended it. He threatened to post negative things on his YouTube channel. Is that a nice guy? Not that I care what he posts on YouTube or FaceBook or any where else for that matter. Not my concern.

Steve, I mostly regret not being able to see the 2 or 3 pages of posts, the rare time I didn't look in every morning. Chris is a nice guy, leans right, and is going to pay me $5 wednesday after biden takes over. I have another good friend who is the same way, we agreed to not talk politics. I know I've ruffled a few feathers, and rightly so. I wasn't speaking directly to you, but to those who can't see more than their side of a discussion, Chris included.
It saddens me, because He has gone thru nearly the whole car by himself, with minimal input from a few of us in the rainforest. I'm a lifelong mechanic, and can't imagine tearing apart a car to the extent he has. You all will note that he always was thankful for the help you gave.
I hope he makes it in time, and some of you will meet him some day, at a meet. To those that I've pissed off, it will probably happen again. you have been warned. My goal is to keep the ratio of offensive/helpful posts fairly even. Pat
