I documented where I took out every screw, but these won't budge, so I must have never removed them.
What would bolt there on the front of the frame? I probably going to have to remove them the hard way, and need to know if they had a use.
Thanks

Nothing maybe. My car doesn’t even have the screws in there.

Yes, the factory oil cooler. The vast majority of aftermarket coolers won't fit there

You'll want to be careful removing them. There is a nut welded to the frame on the inside and if you twist it too hard (which isn't much) the nut will come off. Mine did and I had to go to a lot of trouble to put it back on which included drilling a hole in the fame. I would try penetrating oil, let it sit a few days repeating, then oil again, a torch then cold 3 or so times. That's what I have found to work for me. Seems to shrink and expand it and break it loose. Others may have a better method.

Okay, maybe I'll just leave them in place then. Don't plan on installing an oil cooler.
Thanks!
