Instead of being frustrated, embrace it! Get this exhaust tip and scare the heck out of people behind you. Would work best with that car that sold several years ago named FairBitch...

Wouldn't be hard, drill holes, epoxy leds in place, heat resistant wire loom.
With the right electronics, they could glow with taillights and flash brighter/pulse with brake lights, and flash with turn signals.

Bet it would in Independence MO. ....meth capitol of ...the Midwest .or maybe it was Suger creek , adjacent to Indep. So many cars had a skull hitch cover etc , insane clown possey stickers , must have been 1-2000 cars some with baby seats

Run a little raw gas and a tickler coil output, voila, flames.
