Looking for a little help.
I am looking for bolt sizes for the truck lid, body to frame and hood. Thread pitch, Leith.....
The body was acid dipped to remove all the paint undercoating. Plus I moved, and so far have not found the plastic bag that had each marked. My idea is to possibly use stainless steel bolts.
Thanks
Trevor

5/16-24 x 1/2" , 5/8, or 3/4" should have you covered for these applications. Length depends if you choose to use lock and/or flat washers. SAE flats are best because they provide a tighter fit and have a smaller shoulder. Pat

Re: Bolt sizes?
Trunk lid, 5/16-24 x 18mm long. So between 5/8 and 3/4" long. Qty:4
Hood, 5/16-24 x 16mm long. So about 5/8" long. Qty:4 Too long and they don't fit.
Parts manual says for all years but I would check carefully if you have a later car. Bolt Depot has the 5/8" length. I bought a bin cabinet and bought all different sizes. They have metric too and some stuff I get from Belmetric.
This may also be of help to you.
