That Mako blue roadster looks pretty good with those wire wheels and no trim, it looks right somehow. I usually don't like wire wheels on a roadster or the no-trim look!
I think it works because they’re 16†and the car has a slight drop,
It had some questionable aesthetic choice but That was a cool car actually with a flat dash conversion
Things are progressing nicely here given the small amount of time I have to put on it
Thanks to everyone tips removing the old soundproofing material is not as bad as I expected It looked fairly rusty but was not too bad once removed, but it was more than time to do so , Once cleaned and etched it will receive a few coats of POR15 followed by soundproofing
OP did a lot of holes for roll bars etc
What the best way to plug those ?
I was just talking to my wife about using dry ice to freeze off the undercoating as I see that dry ice is in great demand due to its use in COVID vaccination storage. Never done it, but I still do recall chipping all that crap out many years ago... not fun. Anti-fun. Un-fun. Glad it went well!

I mostly used a wood chisel and Dremel vibrating tool
For the place where it was soft I blasted component freezer on it to harden , worked like a charm

OOF! Yeah, removing the sound deadening material on the floors has been my least favorite part of my entire build. Looks like you got it handled pretty good. Looks great!

Even if you are a great welder and don’t mind spending weeks rebuilding floorboards, it’s quite hard to rebuild anything to that level of originality. Very happy for you Jacques

I’m really happy with how things are only found a few small rust holes on the driver side I've cleaned them completely and debating if I fix with epoxy to keep floors original or get someone to weld a steel plate
But I think there will be a few surprises from the PO when I get to the wiring , seen a few things already
this is what he did to the radio console , If anybody has a face plate I'll be looking for one I already have another console but the plate from it is in Mrs Blue so If you have a plate from a 65-67 that would work
