It is a white roadster running #33 with a white roll cage. It is hard to tell by the photo what year it is for sure but it looks to be a 67.5 or earlier car. I suspect that it is back east somewhere.
The photos were taken at a SVRA event recently.
I hope that helps

too bad he doesnt run it in the original colors....I understand that there are several rare roadsters that are still out racing, just not in their original form....
I know at least one of the BRE roadsters that is painted differently out racing still. I think it would be interesting to know where these cars are today.

I know this is a very old post... but if you do a search on my name you will see an old post from a few years back about one of the old BRE cars.
I have since purchased an ITS 240z to gain experience and will campaign the BRE car in E prod within the next few years. In the mean time my uncle is focusing his efforts in his vintage car to do the same. There have been quite a few delays in our restoration, but we are starting to get things back on track. I’ll revive the thread when the time comes to keep the updates flowing.
Are you saying that you have a "real" BRE roadster? which one?
If so, please put the car back to it's original racing state when it ran in the 60's instead of modifying the car further for E Production racing. These cars, restored properly are a time capsule, and a legacy for the guys that built and raced these cars. All the guys at BRE are getting up there in age and I know that they would like to see these cars back on the track the way that they built them in the 60's.
If you need help with the car, I can put you in touch with several good sources of information so that you can get the car restored correctly.
Best,
Ron

We do want the car in its original trim... BUT we would like to try and give it one last campaign in production racing before it goes vintage. It was built as a racecar and that’s the life we’d like to give it.
The car right now is in bad shape; it’s a bondo baby. But with some time and money I think our plans will do it good.
Well that's a BRE header. With #3 going over the frame member. Are those metal front flairs. Les told me about them forming VW Bug wheel wells into those flairs.
For one last fling, I say paint it in its original paint job and go for it. Which BRE car was it? Those are some impressive headers. Good luck with the racing.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
