I am always interested in the stories behind Roadsters here...their history, who owned them and, who did what to make the car their own.
Mine is a '68 with a wooden flat dash with a mix of early switches and late knobs. Not everyone's choice, but perhaps one day I'll take it back to stock ... for now everything I need works.
Where I need help is information on who did the dash conversion. My only clue is a sticker on the inside of the glove box ... "edwards & sons AUTOMOTIVE (714) 541-9444 SANTA ANA"
I've done my best with Google & actually calling the number...but no luck
Based on the PO's notes, the conversion was done in '68...I don't hold out a lot of hope, but if anyone remembers the shop & any other info, I can add it to the story
Thanks!

Re: SPL311 17277 - Back Story Help
I grew up in Costa Mesa, next door to Santa Ana from the early 70's well into the 90's. Can't say I recall or remember Edward & Son's Automotive. But Santa Ana is a large city. Good luck with your hunt.
