Parts Interchangeability Thread

If there is already one of these, and I missed it while searching, please let me know and feel free to ignore this or delete it.

I wanted to start this thread mostly for me, but I am sure it will benefit others as well... what parts from the different years interchange with what other years. The reason I was searching in the first place is because I was trying to figure out if a rear deckled, from say a '64, would fit a '68. I know the handles are different, and the hinges are external, but if you wanted to have external hinges from a looks standpoint, would the lid itself match up on a 68?
