Anyone know who owned this?

Post by eastmedia »

I just picked up this car. Anyone know who owned it prior? Says it sold at Monterey in 2007? Just a shell now.
Also in the registry, but no name.

Yeah. That was mine Ron. Wish I had never sold it.

Holy cow, I've been looking for this car. After Steve built it, it was sold to Ron Wheatley. He sold it to fund the restoration of the red and white Race 44. After it sold in Monterey it vanished. NIce find.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
