I am going to replace the bearings in my 5 speed.
I need to know the wrench size for the 5 speed main shaft nuts.

Hi Phil, great timing- we machined a few of these. Fits a 1/2 drive torque wrench. Can drop one in the mail any time. Need to put them up on a thread lol..
25$ with a free heavy duty nut lock plate (NLA). j

To clarify, do you need the tool to remove the nut, or the nut itself?

The tool size to remove the nut, just want to be prepared when I go to disassemble the transmission. I used to have a tool, but I can't find it since I cleaned up my garage. It must be in one of my outside sheds.

I used a 1 1/2" open-end wrench to loosen and torque my 5-speed main shaft nuts.....
