Replaced Thermostat, now no running lights?

I have looked through the wiring diagrams as well as the techwiki (its my friend) but I can't figure out where to start.

I replaced the thermostat tower and thermostat and now the running lights dont work.
Admittedly, while I fussed with the tower (had a couple of leaks and trouble with a gasket or three [learning while I go]) I may have dug into the dash to try and get my tach and temp gauge working.

Currently working lights are:
Headlights hi/low
turn signals front and back
hazards/flashers
brake lights

When I pull the headlight knob out to the first position, nothing
When its pulled fully out, 2nd position I believe, headlights, no running tail lights

Have you gotten in position under the dash where you can look up at the switch connections?

I have been up under there. Removed the seat and steering wheel.
