Show me your Datsun horn buttons on Nardi/Momo steering wheels!

Post by GoldHawg »

I just bought the Momo California wheel for my build, but I want a Datsun horn button. The only easy, relatively cheap button I see is here on ebay:

But I'm not sold on this particular button, but maybe it will grow on me if I see other pictures. I like some of the Japanese options, but w/shipping just crazy prices for a horn button.

Love to see what you did for your momo/nardi wheel if you added a Datsun/Nissan/Nismo horn button.

This Momo was on the car when I got it. Datsun logo integrated. And it's in my Avatar.

Looks like pretty much everybody has the one on ebay that is relatively cheap and affordable.

Not a very good photo, but shows how you can load any image into certain aftermarket horn buttons. I used this graphic after removing the Momo logo

I think they are similar but different, mine is at least 25-30 years old and I believe these were available originally from Momo.

The Ebay buttons you listed are newly made, from a few DIY'ers. My friend Adam makes almost every imaginable horn button. Here is his store to peruse:

The "Datsun" button:

Even custom ones like this Star Wars reference:

The "OG" MOMO "Datsun" horn button is difficult to source. As Mike mentioned, they are old and not the same design visually. I included a close-up to help:

I ordered the same wheel for Mr Green
You’ll love it it’s beautiful but if you haven’t seen it it real yet expect it to be darker than expected

I contacted Adam I didn’t know he was Alvin’s friend , and looking at his Nismo button for it and a custom one for my Nardi wheel in the Z

I’m also looking to have a shift knob to match same as I did for the Nardi
