Completely under the spell

Post by RoadZog »

After talking about it for years, we finally got serious and joined the roadster community with this 1969 2000. It's been less than a week, but this thing is even more fun than I could have imagined. First time out, the wife in the driver seat, and she admits she can't help smiling. My son can't get enough seat time - and he's already eyeing the keys. Even people on the street can't help but smile. I can already see how many folks end up with more than one.

I'm looking forward to meeting fellow East Coast roadster fans - hoping for some late summer fun runs.

Welcome Matt. Car looks great. Sounds like the entire family has been smitten. More roadsters in your future maybe? Enjoy.

I went to a cruise night yesterday. My '67 1600 was one of the dirtiest cars there! I drove it 150 miles yesterday before arriving an hour after the cruise night started. Yours is a beautiful car but with that color you really need to out a not MG sticker in your window.

I really enjoy hearing how much people love their Roadster. The car becomes part of the family and takes on a personality of its own... friend, therapist, partner in crime... I can't tell you how many folks I've talked to over the years who have found some kind of magical connection they never had with any other ride. Adventure on, the road awaits!
