Does anyone have the correct part # for a speed bleeder for the front calipers? The stock bleed valve is flat on the bottom. All the speed bleeders I have tried have a pointed bottom. Please see pics. There is not room for the pointed ones to go down into the calipers.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Caliper Speed Bleeder
The stock bleeder relies on a ball bearing iirc.

Re: Caliper Speed Bleeder
Right, so remove the ball bearing and the pointy ones work.

Re: Caliper Speed Bleeder
As found in the Tech Wiki-> FAQ speed bleeders are 3/8†-24 and made by several companies now.
Stainless steel speed bleeders now available also
Can be used on clutch slave cylinder also

Re: Caliper Speed Bleeder
OMG, what Linda posted just rang a bell.
I have been having squishy clutch issues lately because I tried Lucas Synthetic. (bottle says "Dot 3 & 4 compatible", which is a lie)
In doing lots of clutch slave bleeding, I realized that my clutch slave bleeder was a different wrench size than the brake cylinders...…. but I had switched out all 5 for SpeedBleeders years ago...… how is that?
I just realized, I bought a complete clutch hydraulic set from our vendors, and when swapping out the slave it didn't strike me that it had a regular bleeder, so I must have thrown out the SPeedbleeder with the old cylinder. Ah well, that is one you use the least often.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Re: Caliper Speed Bleeder
You can put speed bleeders on the brake and clutch main too, but it is not really necessary since you can just loop the bleeder hose back into the reservoir. Be sure to put towels around to protect your paint in case the hose pops out.
Not sure on size for master and clutch....if for 510 could be different.
