Hi Everyone,
Both of the mirrors on my car have nice, solid 'frames', but the actual 'glass/plastic and reflective' are shot.
Does anyone have a trusted source to repair these?
Thank you,
Peter

Re: Mirror Restoration
I took mine to our local big-chain auto glass place that also does mirrors and other stuff for around the home. They traced/cut/beveled/ glued new mirrors in for me.

Thanks Geoff,
Do you think I would I have the same big chain here in San Diego?
Like a Safelite - a big national chain?
Good to know they’ll take on a smaller job.

Re: Mirror Restoration
I took it to Speedy, which I believe is kinda like Safelite down there.

Re: Mirror Restoration
I've had mirror glass replaced by local, established glass shops in my area. Never an issue. FWIW

Re: Mirror Restoration
Did they use convex glass? I took one to a glass shop some time ago and they said they would only do flat. If yours did use convex, maybe I gave up to easily.dynaguy wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 7:53 am I've had mirror glass replaced by local, established glass shops in my area. Never an issue. FWIW
