New to the Club- Napa, CA ‘69 2000

Hello,

Happy to join an awesome community. Recently purchased a 1969 2000 roadster as a project car to work on with my retired father. He’s been looking for a new retirement hobby and was happy see a 2000 delivered to his garage in Napa, CA. I am frequently going back and forth between NYC and Napa and will be working on it every chance I get with him.

I got it for a good bargain, due to the U20 being seized. It was said to have been sitting garaged for 30+ years and has 55k miles. I bought it expecting a full engine rebuild and after some of the routine checks it looks like I’m getting what I expected! Excited for the project and am glad I found such a helpful resource in this forum.
