Hello

Post by 70MTRoadster »

My profile says I joined Jul 1, 2011 but it seems ages longer than that. I have a 68 510 wagon, very early production with 67 marked seat belts in it. A 72 510 4 door "grammah" car, automatic, L16. Another 72 510 4 dr., VG30E, 5 sp. all heim joints go faster. And my 70 1600 Roadster that now has a 69 2000 SU engine in it. I drive my datsuns virtually every day, winter or summer, rain or shine. The 68 wagon is my daily driver mostly or my jeep grand Cherokee if the weather is that bad. Married 47 years to Rodona which I shortened to The Donk. 71 years old, 72 in august. Healthy. Started with Datsuns back in 72 and been acquiring them ever since. Can't beat them or the stories attached to them!
1968 510 Wagon
1970 Roadster 1600/U20/5 sp. swap
1972 510 4 dr. vg30e/5 sp. ricky racer
1971 510 shell behind the shop, r.i.p.

I drive a Roadster or 510 almost every day!

Welcome. Tell a few stories, of you got ‘em. :)

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Welcome. Please fill in your location in your Profile so we know if every day is in Alaska (awesome), or SoCal (yawn).
