I'm trying to ship a removeable hardtop (the one with the rectangle side window and curved back glazing) from Ellicott City, MD to North Carolina; ideally western NC. Any bright ideas or friends headed thru with truck/etc...will pay $100 for gas.
-OR-
Does anyone know what a removeable hardtop weighs so I can shop U-ship folks...I have dimensions, but not the weight, which I know they will want.
Thanks for any and all info and ideas and consideration.

I shipped a top from Idaho to California via Greyhound bus. I'd say weight is 25-30#'s. Might be worth looking into. FWIW Pat

Greyhound. Space available on each segment. I padded the windows only. I forget the cost it was years ago, but it was the best rate of anything for shipping.

Another one for greyhound. The seller needs to drop it off at the bus depot right off of 895 (I’m not far from Ellicott City) and you pick it up at the closest bus station to your house. Should be @$60. Google greyhound freight.
I remember when no one wanted the 1500s......

I appreciate the input. I'll take another look at the bus...I used them about 8 years ago for a bmw nose piece and they lost it in BF, Wisconsin...finally found after two weeks, and the poor guy had to drive two hours because his depot/destination had gone out of business three months before...I'll google Greyhound freight and cross appropriate fingers. Thanks again. Any other creative ideas welcomed...
