Not a Roadster, but..I ran into a local guy with a nice 1967 RL411 Wagon. Looks to be all original and in good shape. He's driving it around. Nice body, emblems good, an Empi steering wheel (that's might go on the Roadster). R16 engine in it. He's the 2nd owner.
He's looking to sell and I'm in contact. Any ideas on worth? There aren't too many of these around are there?
Thanks,
Ron

Not sure what they're worth, but I've been keeping an eye out for one. I forget which Italian design house did the styling, but the look is really starting to grow on me.

411 wagon
Ron, I think this is the car that was advertiised on Collector Car Trader, about 18 months ago, in Pomona, for many months at 1200 bucks, and he got no takers. It was gray, not sure of interior color, had the 411 hubcaps, which would be worth buying the car just for those rare and desired pieces.
I think it'd be a good roadster alternative for someone with a penchant for elderly Datsuns and a small/young family, so he needs a back seat.
HEY, THAT"S ME!
I'm interested. can I contact him?

Ron,
I can't tell you what it is worth but having owned quite few 410/411s in the past 30 years I can tell you they are alot of fun to drive. In '75 I drove all over the U.S. in a 67 411 and it was the trip of a lifetime. During the whole trip only had to replace one shock absorber. Many of the 510/Roadster parts are interchangeable with the 411.
