New Roadster Owner

Post by Liberoba1 »

Hello everyone my Name is Marco From Modesto, CA and I recently purchased a 1967 Datsun 1600 in decent shape. I was told The car had been sitting for over 10 years in a garage. I have owned many Datsuns from 240z to 620 and anything pretty much Nissan, but this is my first Roadster. I have now gotten the engine running only to realize it has a blow head gasket. :( I have had a hard time finding used parts for it so I am excited to join this forum to learn and get this roadster back on the road.

Welcome! This is the best resource you can find. I bought my roadster back in 1972. At first I could go to the Datsun dealer, then Nissan, then I went through a period where the only parts I could find were from a Rallye Enterprises mail order catalog. You have found a great source of whatever you may need.

Thanks everyone! I just took the head off yesterday. Now need to order parts. Cool I’m assuming he’s on this forum too?
