So, 7 roadsters a 510 a 240Z and a 997 in attendance today on a canyon run up to Crystal lake. Had a bit of a harrowing experience when some idiot up ahead of us started a 3point turn and caused us to really test the brakes. Little shaken but continued with the drive.

Wow , glad everyone is OK. Good to remember about spacing when there are those other reckless people on the road.
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Wouldnt have mattered. He was coming towards us and decided to do it around a blind turn. Glad Mike has cat-like reflexes and mine has good enough brakes!

At the 2:35 Mark is where “it” hit the fan.
Glad we are okay but Mike was too shaken up from this ordeal to cruise further up.
What isn’t in this video was the blue car behind this yellow one pulled a three point turn in front of Darrell and me and we had locked our brakes as well. As he didn’t learn his lesson after seeing this nearly missed collision!
