First shakedown cruise to test the BIG BRAKES (300ZX) and the AZ weather cooperated well with temps in the low 60s.
Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix, lots of winding twisty turns.
Drove all the way to Tortilla Flats, about 85 miles round trip.
These brakes kick A$$!!
Thanks Michael / Spriso

Took the dog up the mountain for lunch.

Enjoying The Ride one last time before 2020 with friends. Rob Fuller brought his SR-powered 510, Geoff in his Lotus 7 and also got to see my friend Naveed's new Hakosuka Skyline! Discovered a new road, took chances and look forward to more driving events!

Whats powering the Skyline?
So glad I can finally start contributing to this thread!
I spent New Years Day taking a drive up Little Tujunga with my buddy in his Mustang. At one point we traded cars and man that thing is a BOAT! haha a fast boat nonetheless...

Hoping to make this a regular thing...
Took a cruise down PCH up to Topanga Canyon to Old Topanga Canyon, then to Stunt Road and back to PCH. Awesome drive.
I didnt bring the GoPro this time, maybe I will remember it next time. I still have a longer video I need to figure out if I want to post or not.

How are the carbs working? Drove mine on Christmas day... ordering accelerator pump rebuild kits and bigger pumps today with hopes of solving some driveability issues at times...
Alvin, what a fun bunch to ride with! Do you get to swap cars sometimes? Looks like a great time with great cars.

Solex68 and I did a little Coast Highway cruise down to Doheny Beach and San Clemente.
A beautiful Southern California day for a drop top run.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Last Sunday we drove to the DrivingWhileAwesome (DWA) Cars & Coffee event in Santa Cruz, CA.
I joined Rob in SRL-0248:
It was chilly but gorgeous in Santa Cruz. The roadsters were well-received
Hakosuka Skyline and a first-gen Dodge Viper !
There were some S30's but no other roadsters or 510s...I did however see KEVIN (MrGuts)!
This is a great venue with some of the best driving roads around, let's make a fun run out of the next one!
Enjoy the pictures:

Sneaked a quickie drive in last weekend just before the rains!
Also drove to the shop, felt good to have a new battery!

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Quick road trip before the rain comes back and schools starts up again. Got up at 6:00 and and picked up my friend before having one of the single best drives of my life down the coast through Big Sur with the sun just rising and Almost no one on the road. Amazing!
Next day was perfect sun and I flew down to Santa Barbra stopping in Buellton for gas and to wonder at being the only roadster (at least for now) Car ran perfectly aside from running a little too cool (high 40s air temp, oil cooler, no fan clutch, and heater on full blast all added up to temp gauge struggling to get into the 150s even after driving for an hour at 90) Aso ran out of gas twice but again very much my fault (I really need to get around to fixing this fuel sender:)
Met up with our friends At Cal Poly SLO in time for breakfast! Exactly what a Roadster is all About! You just had what dozens of people have told me at gas stations and parking lots over the past 33 years... "One of the best times I ever had was driving a Roadster with a buddy of mine...".

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Another weekend, another run up into Malibu. Did Topanga Canyon->Old Topanga Canyon -> Stunt Road again since its a nice routine. I take a nice break at the top, enjoy the scenery, soak in the sun, then drive back down towards the coast

The thing I love about that car is that it looks like it's moving when it's not.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Saturday drive on Calaveras Rd. Back home to snuggle next to SRL-0248 in the garage
Also drove to the shop to help apply livery to a Spec Miata. Same as the #49 IMSA GTU Datsun 240z run at the Monterey Historics by Rob Fuller:
Couldn't help but grab a few stickers for my roadster
