More than the very used plastic set I see is up for sale at $165.

I'd say just above $200. Typically the plastic outlast the metal ones.
My 2 cents.

The plastic ones can be refurbed with some chrome paint.
Seems odd that these are not being reproduced yet

I'd say Whatever the market is willing to pay right now,
There's seems to be a lot of speculation going on lately and i've seen certain parts taking some very wild swings way above what they should be selling for

You said OEM not NOS. Used?
If used, anywhere from $20 to $200 DEPENDING on condition.
If NOS. $300

There were at least 3 aftermarket metal versions made, one with mounting problems. I have never seen a verified metal replacement set that Nissan made. The metal emblems came on the early cars, but I think that all the replacement NOS Nissan ones were plastic and were available from Nissan up to a few years ago.

I bought that set of "NOS" metal letters last month here on 311s. They turned out to be one of the aftermarket sets referred to by Steve. At first blush they appear to be near perfect replicants. Ted had the eagle eye and caught the fact that what I had was not NOS.

Since I just found the three used metal ones in a tub yesterday, I have not yet done the comparison to see just how different the used OEM are from my aftermarket set.

If anyone wants side by side pics, please let me know.

Side by side photos would be greatly appreciated! I removed my front letters and don't plan to put them back on the car.

This sounds like a great project for Brian @ Sin City.

Almost all roadsters will need this at some point and a good stainless steel reproduction should sell like hotcakes!
I would definitely buy a set!

Brian - just curious, have you looked into this yet?

Thanks for everyone’s input. Mine are OEM not NOS or re-pops.

two of the three have correct pin placement but the D is way off (I obviously put this post in the wrong place)

Maybe I missed it. So on the pictures which one (left/right) is authentic original?
