New roadster owner

Post by Crapover »

Just picked up a restored 1970 2000, not perfect but very nice indeed. Shifter boot is sloppily done and need to know how to attach the rubber boots under the leather one. Anyone in New England? Need to drive more before the snow flies.

Very nice, had mine painted a similar color years ago before deciding to go back to original color. Seeing yours makes me question my decision! Welcome

Is that the original steering wheel. I've seen three kinds on 70 roadsters

And is the s brake knob just to make up stories about something bad about to happen to freak out the wife or kids?

Make a list and find a favorite vendor from the list, app.php/page-vendor-list

Brake knob tests the knob bulb function...

Been looking for one already finished for 3 years. Saw it in Hemmings of all places and was the first one to call. Went to Cleveland to pick it up mid October. Almost bought a 17 mx5 Miata before I saw this. Drives like new, has a kinda loud exhaust tho( glasspac??)

Underside . Exhaust is not stock. Don't know if I will change it back to stock or not.

Crapover, The underside view makes it appear to be an extreme high-end restoration. Before replacing that nice exhaust I would look into another muffler or a muffling resonator to put on the end.
