With help from a friend we got the tranny nut off, it always seems to get welded on somehow, and the transmission topped off with 1/2 MT90 Gl4 and 1/2 regular 85-90 Gl4. Must take care of transmission.

Made the nearly 3 hour round trip drive to pick up my batch of black powder Friday 20% off stuff. Traffic though Seattle really sucks! I'll blast the front of the wheels with the ground glass like the other set and paint silver. Powder coat makes a great base.

Curtis, you would have a hard time to convince me to use powder coat as a base on anything that could get a nick or a scratch and be exposed to the weather.

The only weather this car will ever see unless I get caught somewhere is sunshine. I see your point. The other set of wheels I blasted the whole wheel and painted them. Only going to do the front on these wheels.

Was bored during lunch today, so I made some door lock knobs.

Picked up some more plating and finished blasting the dash for powder coat. Unfortunately found out too late the rivets in the ash tray were aluminum and they were eaten in the stripping tank. So will put the tab back on with some small screws.

Stock grey texture. Find a powder coat that is almost an exact match.
