Running out of Roadster weather. Wife and I took a day trip to Wallowa Lake Oregon. Lots of twisties on Rattlesnake Grade. Great lunch in Joseph Oregon. Took a tram to the summit overlooking some fantastic scenery. Great day for a drive! Good thing I swerved to miss that cat...they would have had to change their sign. :D

Roadster Drive today. 9-12-19

Nice sunny warm Eastern WA roadster drive today. 9 hrs. 375 miles.
To Vantage on the Columbia River and a loop along the Frenchmen Hills SW of Moses Lake.
Once past Easton on I90 there are side roads for the rest of the drive.
Got some Honey Crisp apples until we do the official Apple drive at the end of Sept.
"Grilled" a few butterflys.

Round trip to the Watkins Glen meetup last weekend. 370 miles. A little chilly at times but immense fun! Had to lock up the brakes one time on a backroad when a pair of dogs decided that running into the street to chase cars was a good idea.

Another day trip. This time in eastern Washington state. Took back roads through the small towns of Colfax, Diamond, Endicott,St. John, Pine City, Malden, Rosalia, Oakesdale, Garfield and Palouse. Touched the World's largest gold nugget in St. John. Observed some interesting "modified" cars in Rosalia. Had lunch in Palouse, walked thru the Palouse Days car show. We had 4 cars entered in it last year, none this year.
Fulfilled my goal of 1ea. 250+mile day trips in 3 different states this summer. 1st was Idaho, then Oregon last week, and Washington this week. Next year, longer overnight trips are in the works.
Been a fun summer!

Thanks for posting your Adventures! We'll be running out of new areas on the west side, so having some targets for next year is helpful. We didn't have as many trips as we had wanted this summer. I'm still hoping for some nice fall days, and remember a great drive two years ago on St Helens.

Wow! That picture looks familiar. Got the same one when we were down for the meetup! Just substitute an Alfa for a Datsun and it’s pretty much the same!

Roadster Drive Today. 10-1-19 160 miles

Nice sunny early Fall day drive to see Pebbles (Dave McP.) 160 miles
A nippy 39 in the am. 55 when I started. Mid 60's in the afternoon.
I had not seen Pebbles since Shedd so had to check if he was making progress on the SR roadster. Ha Ha Ha NOT.
Just his goofy self with no shirt. Cleaning his shop and house roof.
Pebbles has a new toy to distract him from finishing his SR roadster.
NW blackberries are devouring his parts roadsters.
Got a few calendar pics of the new DATSHOND roadster.
