Lay a straight edge across the face of the drum. Measure to the spring and the outer wheel well.
Average (safe) Datsun Roadster backspace, (to the spring) is 4.75â€ (4.9â€ will touch).

thanks David, Ted said that i have a 4.5 or 5.5 inch tire so that would be 36mm offset? kinda confused...
