Awesome! Do we know who’s car this is?
I follow that each year, always thought it would be cool to run that some day. Just took a close look, Japanese plates and right hand drive!

It might be even be straight from Japan. There was a Japanese team running a 1970 Prince Gloria last year. I talked to them briefly at the start of the race here in Buffalo and they said they brought it over specifically for that race only.

That car, it looks like #6 on my iPad, is not shown on the 2019 entry list. For some reason they have left off a couple of numbers. A few years ago they had a lunch stop near me and I went to look at the cars as they arrived. There was quite an eclectic group of cars including a Datsun 2000 from Japan, but I don't think that is was this one, as IIRC it was silver. Of course it brought out a large number of local classic cars of all varieties to observe the stop as well. If one of these stops is ever near you I highly suggest attending. Oh, by the way Tom if you are thinking of entering someday you better start saving your pennies now, as it is pretty expensive, but does look like a blast.

For me, even more of a consideration than the cost, is the amount of time it takes. It's all I can do to get a few days off work- I can't fathom planning:
a) That far in advance (Sold out for 2020 already I understand) or
b) The amount of time required
c) Travel/logistics to get to starting city and from the ending city.
A guy can dream though!!

They are coming through Hood River on Friday and stopping at the WAAAM for lunch if anyone is interested in meeting up. I’m going for an hour or two.
