Can anyone id this Ford Engine

I received a PM asking if I could identify this Ford 4 cylinder fuel injected motor. I have no clue what it came from. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Mustang SVO and Thunderbird turbo coupe from the mid 80’s.

It’s a 2.3L 4 cylinder Lima engine. Not turbocharged and likely not even fuel injected because I see a carburetor lurking under the air cleaner.
The valve cover says Fuel Injection but those are easy to obtain and swap out.
I ran a carburetor on a Pinto 2.3L for several years before I upgraded to the EFI Turbo version so I know a bit about these motors.
