my 2c, as I said

Get it completely sorted mechanically/electrically/instrumentally such that it is a completely reliable driver, and just enjoy it.

Collect the 'pretty' bits in the meantime, where missing.

Enjoy it and then decide. As they all annoyingly say, it's only original once. A MAJOR decision, best left for the future for now.

It's a wonderful sight to see.

I couldn't agree more with that. Give it a good cleaning and sort the mechanicals to like new condition, Sunday drive it and admire it!

Thanks guys!
I really value your input. I guess I had the award “bug” so had the momentary intention of making it pretty for next year’s show. Well, let me put some radials on it drive it for a couple of months then decide. I’ll post more pics soon. Btw—- it was nice to see you all at the show. We’ve already asked for a room at the same hotel for next year!

Lol
That’s for certain look at him taking full ownership

Thanks Jacques for the great candid shot!
Thank you again for making your way down to L.A., it was nice meeting you and your wife.
Safe travels back home and hopefully we'll see your ride soon! You may get the "Insanity" award if you get the car here. I've remembered folks flying in from the Netherlands in the past to visit this show...what a treat to meet them!

Hubcaps will be spendy to find. I have some that will work in a pinch.

Thanks Sid,
I got some a while ago and am waiting for the body to be finished before I get the stock rims blasted & powder coated with new whitewalls.

Here’s something I discovered recently. Is this how the stock front seats situated where the cushion comes off as it rests in this fiberglass tub?

I have a couple of sets Ted. They work great for a driver. Stainless, so no rust, inexpensive to replace. Look right on the car.

Ted-
Sid-

I do have the original hubcaps that I am waiting to put on after I get my car all done (wheels blasted & painted, and body painted).
In the meantime here are my choices. Ranchero or Pinto (which I thought looked like Datsun 510 hubcaps).
Your thoughts?
