Welcome to the Family! We're a very friendly and helpful group here, so feel free to ask questions etc. It will take a few months to get fully comfortable with the manual transmission but I'm sure you're going to enjoy the experience and the vintage handling/feel. I would strongly suggest a set of JT68's Bilstein shocks... will transform the driving experience and be closer to your more modern cars without losing the vintage.

It's great to hear you will be at the L.A. classic car show. I'll be showing my roadster as well but I'll be displaying it with the Japanese Experience section. Hope to meet you soon. See you Sunday!
Ray
I'll be on the lookout for you Ray! Look forward to saying hello.
Hey Max,
Sorry I missed you but seeing how this show was going, I wouldn’t blame you for ditching the last day ;-)
We’ll catch up another time!
Perhaps I’ll see you at Solvang 4/26 - 4/27?

Hey Max welcome! We are in the same city! I also live in Costa Mesa. I'll definitely keep an eye out for you on the street. I don't have my 67.5 back on the streets yet but very soon I hope. Also your Datsun looks great!!!

Hey Ray,

I was there Saturday and parked next to a 1600 in the Japanese experience. Was that one yours?

Had a lot of fun at the show, but yeah didn't feel it worth it to deal with the "check-in process" again on Sunday.

Thanks! Hope you're hitting the pavement with it soon!

Hey Max,
Yup my 1970! I dropped off the car Friday night and came back Sunday afternoon. The previous years, when hosted by Velocity channel, was better organized than when Motortrend took it over.
I’ll catch you in the near future on fun run!

Very nice looking car. I like the stripes. Looks well sorted and the fact you are driving the car as much as possible is a good thing. Could there be a second roadster in the future? His and hers... Hard to stop at just one. Enjoy.

Would have loved to, especially as it's over my birthday, but I'll be at a conference for work. Hope to make it next year with the Roadster all perfectly sorted.
