R16 Engine Rebuild Parts (Stroker)

Post by Sammy66 »

Hi, I have an R16 5-main engine that I would like to rebuild as a Stroker using H20 parts (to save money). I have seen the parts list provided on this site but wanted to know if anyone has a H20 parts supplier that they would recommend? I have seen forklift parts suppliers that sell complete engine rebuild kits but have no idea if they are reputable or who actually manufactures these parts?

Surprised no one has answered you as yet. Motor Power was the go to for H20 parts. They were bought out by another company. I have recently ordered parts from them and got the same great prices and service. You can still get to the Motor Power Inc website.

Motor Power Inc

Here is my previous discussion regarding the new ownership.

Hi Steve, I really appreciate your input! Thanks so much and I am looking forward to this project! Steve, is that H20 parts list the p/n list I should go off? Once again, thanks!

Not sure what part numbers you are referring to. You should be able to order H20 parts for your stroker. There is a way not to have the 5 main crank cut as I and others have done. I believe Bill Cole used a spacer to make things work without cutting. Sure seems like the way to go. Maybe he will chime in.
