Whenever I get them back together I'll add this to my upkeep .. thanks for info on it . Well I got one together but cant get it apart again. Haha .. . And this plastic stuff is everywhere . All the way down to tank . Your welcome. haha .. yeah , the woes of my life .. oh
I knew I came here for a reason .

I filled up all the zerks (or however you say it ) things with grease today and the hydraulic piston stuck really good in the cylinder . . Proud of this mess up. Can't even spin it . Have it soaking in grease now . haha .

The WD-40: "pulling back the boot and injecting WD-40 under it annually to get the water out" The boot is there to keep the water out. We don't want water in there or the cylinder is rusting from the outside in. Yes, it is supposedly sealed. But why leave water there even though it is not supposed to be there?

I have been going over my wiring harnesses. Checking all the connections, replacing bad ones. put all new LEDs in the dash harness. found two short lengths of wire that needed replacing. I Covered some butt connections with heat shrink tube. Then I put new covering over all of the engine bay portions.

The picture below is of the two connections to the brake pressure switch. The blue one is one that was added by someone working on it prior to me while the new one is one that I just put on.

I have two more pics that show the new shiny covering but they won't load.

I installed some noise control. On the firewall and adjacent areas and on the deck behind the seat I installed Xmat lightweight mat, while on the rear wheel wells and the back wall of the cockpit I installed heavyweight Grace Vycor Plus.

The Side-Pipe roadster is no more! Today we had a stock style exhaust system installed:

sprayed the final coat of paint on the dash surround. I like the look of the semi-gloss.

Dug up my extra face plate that had the middle bar cut and mocked up the radio. Need's some touch up paint and after some fiddling got it mounted pretty well. I'd like to order one of there other faceplates to look closer to original later.

Today... (well, yesterday, actually...)

Fender mirror installation... the door mirror on the 67.5 is an ugly thing held on with sheet metal screws... popped it off and added Nissan fender mirrors from Ross @ Sports Imports:

Actually are functional and look great. Will get the door holes plugged and filled

Spent some time in the garage masking the pass side inner fender to spray it once the temps are in the 60s again. Also organized some stuff, should have a decent amount of parts here soon. Just need some time to get it all done
