For the low indshield 1600s...

I remember Paul Bauman won an award, and 2nd place went to Ray Baca. Don't recall who else one in the Category.

air dam flipped

Post by FergO2k »

Yep, we (me and Gary Wasserman) noticed it and told Pierre, who was embarassed but we told him to say "artistic license, I like it that way" until he gets it turned back over.
Now that you mention it, why doesn't the race car pic have an air dam either? must be correct, so wonder why they didn't run one. (maybe it doesn't go on the trailer well, so they install it prior to races only)

Fergus,

The air dam was a BRE thing. Jack Scoville was a competitor and from the photos I have seen, he never ran the air dam. I could be wrong though as I never studied it. Here is a link to info on him and the car:

Personally, I would like the first version of the Spook (the BRE airdam), but have not seen any of those around...

Linda brought up that some people couldn't access the pictures, this is what I told her..

what I noticed with mine, is that I had already viewed the pictures in my cache prior to sending it. If you open a seperate window, then right click the individual pictures and click properties, you can cut and paste the .jpg file and open it in the new window, once you do that the picture is in your cache and it will also show up on the screen.

Thanks Lou
