OT Burning truck

Post by Redtail »

Check your electricals everyone!

I woke up to a blaring car horn at 4:30am and decided to investigate - this is what I saw:

Sorry for the blurry pics, but I was shooting out my second floor apartment window and only had about 30 seconds before the SFFD showed up.

It only took them another minute or two to put out the flames and silence the horn. The PD showed up to fill out some paperwork, then it was towed and it was all over at 4:50.

Cheers to the SFFD!

Don't let this happen to a Roadster!

So I guess I shouldn't leave my lights on?

We saw alot of battery shut offs at Shasta. People use them for different reasons, from not driving the car enough, to a dead short somewhere, or even simple security, but that right there is another good reason.
