Any idea which one is correct? Or I suppose it's possible that the grommet wasn't oblong to begin with as the vacuum line has a relatively tight bend/path to it and maybe it caused the grommet to change shape.

I too have struggled with the vacuum line set up for the non turbo S14. If you find what page and section of the 200SX/S14 Silvia Workshop manuual vacuum lines come in please post. The capped metal line just behind my throttle position sensor wire (TPS) confuses the hell out of me. It seem like it should connect to something! I have not found the photo that Michael Spreadbury added to your post on the manual. I think maybe there is another manual out there for us.onsight512 wrote: Mon Dec 24, 2018 2:13 pm Thanks Michael. I'm going to do a little more disassembly to get a clearer look at where the lines go. There are three vacuum lines that go into this particular tube. Two are probably going under the intake plenum. I'll see where the third one heads off to.
