rear end gears

Post by deliver »

Hi been tring to figure out my rear end gear. I have a 35:9 numbers on ring gear, which I believe is refered to as a 3.9 gear. What numbers should I look for on a 3.7 gear out of a 2000 car? Thanks.

Maybe I have been vague in what I am asking. Does anyone know how many teeth are on a ring gear and the pinion no a 3.7 gear from a 2000. Is it 37 to 10?

deliver, yes, I do believe you are correct ... 37:10... is tooth count for the H-190 rearend that came in the 2000. The 2000 gears will bolt right in the 1600 housing. Bill
