User cannot update profiles

Since I put the authorization code in place to block spammers/hackers it appears that the ability for people to edit their own profiles is broken. It is a small price to pay for the peace and quiet. So with that in mind if you want a change made to your profile send it to me and I will be glad to do it. Thanks.

Did you do this recently? I have changed my profile. The issue is that you have to enter the password, and then enter a new password (can be the same one) and reenter it. A bit of extra typing, but not too bad.

I just changed my signature line again to test it. Works fine.

Good find Sid. I added the authorization code quite a while ago. Thanks for pointing that out. So there you have it.

Steve.. is that why I can’t post pictures? Do I need an authorization code to do it. Every time I wanna post a picture of my roadster or a question to the forum that requires a picture it keeps saying “the image you tried to attach is invalid “. Help please. Shamus.

How big are your picture files? If you are shooting them with a iPhone or even an Android the default is usually mega-pixel size and those are way too big to post and need to be reduced in size. Easiest way is to send them in a text to yourself and it should give you an option to resize the pictures. At least my Android does. Let me know but this has nothing to do with your profile or some special code. Thanks.
