Does anyone know how to attach this hard top to the car? It didn't come with any clamps.
Thanks,

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
1/4 x 20 eyebolt and nuts and washers.
I will look for a picture I have posted in the past.
You need to remove the soft top frame and the eye of the eyebolt goes over the stud. I like to use a small piece of tubing to fill the eyebolt and a large fender washer on the outside. I use 2 nuts on the I bolt so I can control the pressure of the top on the paint...one below and one above the bracket on the top.
This is an old picture without the tubing and washer, but you get the idea......LOL

You might try contacting Dave Primo, I bet he either knows, or has one readily available to measure.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
Is there a better type connector than the metal one up front by the headlight connection......it is rectangular, all metal in a vinyl sleeve, and a uninsulated bullet connector goes in one end and the other wire is soldered in.
I can post a pic if needed.
Thx
Linda
Pic, not very good since it is dark. I will get a better one tomorrow.
The connector is in the middle, it is 2 metal tubes together as one piece forming a rectangular connector. Ignore the blue from a separate bullet connector. Could not get my phone to focus....

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
I think it is this one
Vintage Connectors
It looks like it's black, so a ground - won't matter if it is bare unless there are bare hot wires nearby

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
That is the original connector. There should be two and both should have an insulating tube on them. I have new tubes if you need one. They are no longer green, but clear.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
Thx. I took the vinyl off for the pics above.
Thinking I can get some tubing from Home Depot and make the sleeve.
Seems Vintage Connections would be the only place for a replacement, unless I could use something else?
