Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
I've read that the 94+ 1.8 miata torsen can be used in the gsl-se housing. Also, if the torsen can fit, maybe the open 3rd member from the 1.8 miata can work too? Can anyone confirm this? Maybe Michael from Spriso Motorsports would have some helpful insight?

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
Got an answer from the rx7 forums. Apparently the 94+ 1.8 miata ring and pinion and torsen lsd do in fact work in the gsl-se axle housing. 94-97 5 speed has 4.10, 99-05 5 speed has 4.30 and the 99-05 6 speed has 3.90 gearing.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
I'm bleeding my clutch and can't seem to get the air bubble out yet . does anyone know how much break fluid fills the clutch ? I want to bleed the entire system and don't know how much it is till all through and new is in .. hoping it'll get bubble out if I go the entire system .. any ideas on how much fluid is in that system ? please .

Lorna,
Clutch is fully gravity bleed, unlike brakes which are under pressure.
where is the bubble?
are you using a speed bleeder

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
Lorna, I just replaced my M/C's and slave cylinder. Bleeding was easy, just fill the M/C with the bleeder open, gravity does the rest. When you get fluid coming out of the bleeder, close it and you should be good to go.
If your losing pressure on the clutch, and not seeing any drips of brake fluid loss then you might have an internal leak that's letting the pressure bypass the seals inside the m/c or slave.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
1) again - where is the bubble????
2) fill it up, lock it all down, and either watch while someone presses the pedal, or use your cell phone to record a video - you most likely either haven't tightened it all enough or you have a leaking hose

You said you switched the slave cylinder and master, but they still can go bad. Check for leakage, along with all hoses as mentioned.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
I had a lot of problems using the vacuum device. Seemed to suck air in around the bleeder unless I applied grease to the threads.
